You need at least 4 players to start a game (up to 10). With fewer than 4, there aren't enough bees to make the deduction interesting!
Roles are randomly assigned when the host starts the game. The number of impostors (hornets) scales with the player count: 1 hornet for 4-7 players, 2 for 8-10.
Complete tasks around the hive (interact with glowing stations), watch for suspicious behavior, report bodies, and vote out who you think is the hornet during meetings.
Blend in! Pretend to do tasks, sabotage the hive, and eliminate bees when no one's watching. Don't get caught during votes.
A meeting starts when someone reports a body or calls an emergency meeting from the Queen's Chamber. Everyone discusses in chat, then votes on who to eject. The bee with the most votes gets kicked out — and you'll find out if they were a hornet or not.
Hornets can trigger a lights sabotage that reduces visibility for all crew bees. Crew members need to find and interact with the fix station to restore power.
Either complete all tasks (fill the task bar) or vote out all the hornets.
Eliminate enough bees until hornets equal or outnumber the remaining crew.
Yes! The game works on mobile browsers with touch controls — use the on-screen joystick to move and the action buttons to interact.
