Place your bet — click chips to build, then DEAL.
Place a bet, then try to beat the dealer's hand without going over 21. Number cards are worth their face value, face cards (J/Q/K) are worth 10, and Aces count as 1 or 11 (whichever is better). Use HIT to draw another card, STAND to keep your total, DOUBLE to double your bet and take exactly one more card, or SPLIT if your first two cards have the same rank. If you bust (go over 21) you lose immediately.
With standard rules (dealer stands on soft 17, blackjack pays 3:2, double on any two, split once) the house edge is roughly 0.5–1% if you use basic strategy. This free arcade version follows those rules with a 4-deck shoe, so expect similar odds — though results over a short session can swing wildly.
Yes. When your first two cards share the same rank, the SPLIT button becomes available. Each hand gets an independent bet equal to the original. Each split hand is then played one at a time. To keep things simple, re-splitting is disabled and split aces get only one additional card each.
Yes. The shoe uses 4 standard 52-card decks (208 cards) shuffled with the Fisher–Yates algorithm using your browser's crypto-grade random source when available. When fewer than 52 cards remain, the shoe is automatically reshuffled. This deters naive card counting and keeps every deal independent.
